Default Killing time

I have been waiting for a couple days for verification on a detail concerning painting the little marine. I thought I would kill a little time while I was waiting.

Here are a few scout neckerchief slides I did yesterday and a noggin' I carved tonight.

Joe,
Love the work. I'm always challenged and encouraged as I view this site. Was the noggin' done from a thread spool?

Yes sir. The spool is large though, about 2.5 to 3 inches tall, and is turned basswood.
