Nice looking planter, Mark! The locking wheels and tilt adjustment are really nice and I'm sure will be appreciated.

A recent post was how much do you carve? Well this isn't carving,,but it's 11:30 PM,,started at 8:30 AM,,it's my birthday today,,and I'm calling it quits!
I did get the corner posts done this evening as well as making the floor. It's essentially a core box type configuration,,and is incredibly strong. I can stand on it and jump up and down on it,,and it doesn't budge.Add the liner tomorrow and I'm calling it done. Unless I decide to add a flat rail across the top edges,,and ,,,and ,,and,,,,when will I ever learn?

Someone wanted to see how it turned out,,,well there it is. Hope you like it.Even though it's not carving,,there were construction details that would lend themselves to a piece that could very well be carved,,,or making a mobile base for a carving stand,,workbench,,etc...simple as this is,,there are sources of ideas in it.

Now,,,luckily that I have some Teak left over,,I have to carve samples for a bid I just got on doing 23 headboards and they all have to be different and unique,,yes,,they're out of teak too. I seem to get runs of all Mahogany,,then Cherry,Bass,,,now this. If nothing else it should prove interesting. I can see it now,,one loooooong post of watching me carve all those pieces. Just the thought of it makes me tired.

made me laugh...thinking you jump up and down on this...but yes, it really looks strong. love in particlar the bottom, where the plants stand on. pity this will not be seen when in use... nice job you did... :-)

edit : thinking of how strong it has to be, to carry the soil of plants, and the huge plant, i dont understand how you could make the bottom so strong, how are these pieces joint ? there seems to be a nail, or screw ? is it just that ? or are they cut one end with a "nose" the other, which joins to it, with a groove to receive the nose ?
