Default It's not carving

This is what my husband and I are working on. Our property. This is pictures of where we're moving our house to and our leach field. We're having a contractor put our leach lines in. Never thought I would be so excited about where the doodies go!!! The lines should be done today and inspected! YEE-HAAA!

Hi Sharon. I think I'd say Amen to that little piece of Heaven you share with Keoma.

Congratulations on your new homestead.

Hey Cliff, we got a little year round creek running through it, no fish though, lots of salamanders.Leach= Poopies! You always crack me up! We also have a small canyon through it too.My hon just got home and the leach lines are all done and it passed inspection. If we had a toilet on it we could use it! Don't know what the neighbors would think of that beings there's no house there yet. Might be kind of fun? Shame on me!LOL

Cliff:
When one is not on the city sewer system, one has to put in a septic tank. There is a pipe from the house to the septic tank where bacterial action converts the stuff coming in into harmless stuff. The leach line is a pipe with lots of holes in it that stretches from the septic tank out into the yard somewhere and takes the excess water from the septic tank and allows it to soak into the soil. This line is normally a couple of feet deep at the shallowest to cut down on the smell. In the summer, when most grasses begin to die and turn brown, the area above the leach line is still a luxuriant green! Every few years, you have to hire a septic service to some pump the "sludge" out of the septic tank and throw in some more of the correct bacteria...

Sharon, up here in Canada we call a poopies pipe, a waste water management system to be ecologically correct. A poopies pipe, oh my God, what are we comming to and guess what we call the electric poles along the side of the road, Hydro poles, when are you Yankees gonna get it right? smile, no not smile, ROTFLMAO.
