Default Indonesian Wood Carvings

I'm working on a carving for a friend at work who is pregnant. I copied the design from a Indonesian Carving I found online. I will not be selling it, its a gift for her.

I was wondering if I can post the picture of her in progress? Not sure if I can do this because it not my design.

Hi. I don't see why not. You're not posting it as your own design. Perhaps you can include the artists name if you have it or the website.

I'd like to see your progress.

Just be sure to credit the original design person. I give credit to Irish and Mark anytime I can as they are a great influence in some of my carvings....as is many of the members here.

Here is the WIP. Took the pics at work with the camera phone(sorry). I got this idea from this webpage

Indonesian Wood Carvings : Pregnant Fine Art, pregnancy art, fine art pregnancy photography, The Womb Blessing, birth art, mother art, goddess art, pregnant women, Mother Earth, baby shower invitations, blessingway invitations and gifts, baby shower .

Still have more work to put into this. And will try to do a (minwax)wood finish on it when i'm done(first try at that). It was done out of a 6 inches by 4 inches block of basswood.
