| | Re: Indian #4 Colin, thank you very much. It is a piece of cottonwood about 5" by 13". I to have a passion for native culture. My wife is part Mohawk and I have two grandbabies that are half soiux. I also do Quillwork, Make dance outfits and mocs, Tipis etc... My wife does the full beaded dresses. We have been in the native culture our whole lives. My two sons and I also sing on the drum. We used to travel around the country doing shows and home schooling the kids. Since then my kids have all gone to collage and also carry on the customs. Can not wait to see your work. Vince

| | Re: Indian #4 I just downloaded and these are the pics in order of work done,I hope. It takes you trough the clean up stage to detail to paint to oil. This is the first time I put any kind of paint on and I don`t think I like it. It is just a wash. My wife likes it. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think. Vince

| | Re: Indian #4 Beatiful carving Vince. I think I might put that one at the top of the list of the carvings you have shown us thus far. It's neat to see the progression from start to finish. You must have some elves in your shop to keep putting out these carvings so quickly. The paint looks good...as I think you prefer to keep everything natural. Sometimes a little paint adds contrast.
You finding homes for all those carvings?
