When I see pictures of the fallen, I can't help but remark about how _young_ they are. My boys are that age, and they're still babies to me...

Your words as well as your carving are priceless. Your carving is a wonderful likeness and so were your words. Salute and pass the tissues.

Bob what an honor you have bestowed for the young man that gallantly gave his life as so many others did to keep us at home safe from harm's way. Yes our young men and women do have a business to attend to where ever they are commanded to go,as they are all professionals in what they do. As a young man of seventeen,I to answered the call of my country and dug many a fox hole in both Korea & Nam.I spent two years recuperating from the advents of war and I can't begin to count how many young men like the one you have honored as a fallen comrade gave their lives to keep Canada & the U.S.A from harm's way. Now my son in law is taking care of business twice over in Iraq & Afganistan. My entire family have been members of the military and as most of our grand sons will carry the torch.
Thanks Bob
