Excellent concept and nice execution too. i started a set i have not finished, much more boring than this tho...
looking forward to the finished set.

Yep... can be boring at times...

I'll have to work on some other things and only work on it once in a while.

For now, I have 4 blanks prepared for the Pawns, 2 for each side. I will need to correct the size of the bases once they're all finished. Still a lot of work to do on them, but I don't have any deadline to respect before I can finish them. Once the 16 blanks are prepared, the real fun will begin.

The score is now 4 pieces completed, 4 pieces started, and... 24 more to go...

So here is what I have so far.

Now 'scuse me, but I need to do a couple of boots and Santas for Xmas. As I am a slow carver, I should begin right away if I want to be ready for Xmas...

I also would like to be able to make the board to place the pieces every time one is finished carving. It think it would be more motivating that way.
