Colin, wonderful story and your carving is taking shape...sure it's scary to step out of our comfort zone. Trying something new is always a challenge and you have to feel a new sense of enjoyment. Your carving is going to be GREAT........keep going. I'll be checking back to watch "Narasimgat a native of the West Coast Haida Gwai" emerge from the wood.
