Arnie, fabulous carving! And what a superb job on the painting, too! I'm really the pits when it comes to painting my carvings. Maybe I need to check out Lynn's "wet on wet" painting technique. Does anyone know where I can read more about this?

Go to Lynn's blog outwestwoodcarving and read thru his step by step posts. They are good stuff. With wet on wet it's very important to have stop cuts or burn lines between colors. Arnie

Looks good to me...........only change that I would suggest would be to have his eyes looking upward at the branch.
