| | Hairy Woodpecker I`ve had so many Hairy Woodpeckers at my suet feeders lately. It was time to carve one. These friendly birds are great entertainment at the suet feeder. They will hang upside down and feed. For a basically black and white bird, they are truly beautiful in life. |

We go through a lot of suet. |

If I got a Pileated woodpecker to come to our feeders, I would be famous, never mind the red bellied and the rest. Very rare occurrence in this neck of the woods.
