He's great Jim. You should be proud of how it turned out.

I appreciate the folks who publish their WIP's from plans published in WCI. Looks like a job well done here. Having a step by step is helpful to carvers of all levels. Never too old to learn something new. Thanks for sharing.

Wow...Thanks everyone for the accolades...
I haven't been active on the carving board for a while, as I've been more into my scroll saw, and hanging out over at our sister site.
But now I've been doing more carving than scrolling.
I also have recently bought some good pens to go with my Colwood wood burner, so I'm anxious to do some burning projects. I've got Sue Walters DVD, and one of her books. I'm looking forward to Lora Irish's online seminar, (Does anyone know when that starts??).

I eventually want to do projects that use double-bevel inlay, carving, and pyrography...

Again thank you everyone for your support...!!!
It means a lot coming from such carvers as yourselves...

I really like the wolf. I like the way it goes with the base, looks very natural! Lora's seminar already happened, but you can still follow along with it. It's great information to reference back to, I hope it stays around on this site.
