I'm back! I am ready to spend time on the bird itself as the base is completely roughed in. Here are some more pictures of the base. I want to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and a New Year and of course carving! Bird carver</IMG>

Bird carver, that is excellent even at this stage. I can really see it taking shape. I love the shape and texture you've got on the rocks, too.

I am watching you! lol....I carved a great blue and have had in the back of my mind I would like to do a green.....so....I am watching you!
