Well finally got around to roughing out that maple stick that I found the other day. Yes you guessed it all other carvings are on hold this maybe will end up that way too who knows. Here is a picture of the stick all cleaned up and roughed out with a woodspirt I cleaned all the bark off of it an shortened the roots a little. I will post as I go tomorrow maybe or maybe not.LoL

That be a fine looking stick/staff. I like the spirit you decided to carve in it. Stained or unfinished, it will be a beaut.
