Default Got An Itch????

I wanted to get this finished before the storm comes this week. At least it will provide a little comfort when the A/C goes out. It's 18" long and was carved out of 2" x 2" basswood finished in acrylics and satin water based polyurethane. I got the idea from a visit to the Smoky Moutain Woodcarvers website but I wanted mine longer due to a bad shoulder. The light switch is only a temporary home. I needed good lighting and a hook to hang it on to photograph it.

scritch scritch scritch.. He looks adorable. Is it ok if I try one? I make the other kind of backscratchers...with corn cobs. My family keep asking for more of them. I think haveing a bear on top of them would be darling.

That's a good one Eddy and a useful tool, too. The bear is really nicely done, but I wouldn't expect less from you.

Make sure you've got enough supplies stocked.

Cute idea! I think you better keep making these because everyone you know will want one. Well done.

He's cute Eddy. I have just a plain one, but its the most used "tool" in the house. Hopefully the storm will miss you, be safe.

Neat idea Eddie, I need to add that to my list, specially here in New Mexico where the climate can be awful dry sometimes.
