Default Golfball Rose

Here's the golfball Rose, I carved, it takes about 2 hours. I ended having to do another due to the old one disappearing hmmmmmmmmmm, I still have to make a stand for it.

I went through 2 18 packs of balls in the first 2 months of golf season last year.......maybe carving them would keep them around a little longer..LOL

Wonderful golfball rose Mel--it must be hard, well would be for me to work on something that small.
Will you update your rose when you get the stand made...please.
Hey how about a WIP sometime?
Kathy

Kathy it wasn't hard at all, maybe I'll do one from start to finish, in the WIP section so you guys can try it. This took only a couple of hours. By the way the only thing I painted were the leaves. Sometimes the natural core of the ball looks good.

Hi Mel, I'd love to see a WIP on carving a golf ball. Not sure when I'll get around to carving one but I think it would be interesting and something for the future for me anyway.

Mel, that is really pretty!! Usually it's just funny faced characters carved out of golf balls, that I see. How interesting you thought to do something so different! Very, very nice job! Thanks for sharing it with us! Deborah
