Default Goldfinch Greeting Cards

I just came down off the mountain where I spent a month mostly carving different type magnets for my greeting cards. Mama immeadiately wanted me to make up two cards to send out so my first project on returning home was to finish up the Goldfinches that I had carved. Now to get busy and get the other 30+ magnets painted and assembled!

what a great idea. Do you also make the card? How do you keep the magnet on the card? I would think maybe rubber cement?

Eddy, great job as usual!

I like the fact that you give out cards that no one would think of throwing in the trash!

Hi Eddy,

So glad to have you back, my friend. As always, these cards are great and the goldfinches are wearing a great coat of paint showing off their colors.

Thanks guys!........

Woody, yes, I make all my own cards and the magnets are held on to the carvings with either hot glue or epoxy, depending on what I have. Then I mount them to the card with double sided tape. For more detail on the project check out the Spring Issue 50 of WCI, page 41.

Schaf.... Success is limited to personal use which is fine for the Mrs. and I. Unfortunately the folks at Hallmark thought my idea was for the birds!!!! Ha! Ha!
