Default Golden Eagle cane

Also mentioned in the thread "What are you carving" is this Golden Eagle in Chatekok.....a very interesting and hard wood. The colour is brilliant, I can't wait to see what it looks like with an oil finish on it, though the head will end up painted. I'll make the shaft from the same wood.

That is really a nice looking wood! Can't wait to see how it looks finished. I am working on my first cane, out of Cedar. It will be a spirit face.
