Default Gandalf the Gray

For something different, I created a small portrait of the Lord of the Rings, Gandalf the Gray. The wood is Basswood and finished with BLO first and then acrylic. He is about 7" high and is mounted on a piece of Pine painted flat black.

He turned out great. I am currently watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy while I am in my carving room. I got a new tv that plays them easily (just insert in the side of it)...so I am taking advantage. I am happy to say I know who Gandalf is!
