Default furniture and WIPs

I've been bouncing back and forth from carving lil charactures to making furniture for the 6.25 inch tall dolls I've been carving.

Here you can see what I've done so far. I just need to sit down and paint. Ugh.

Penny is in the middle there, standing behind the bed showing the size comparison.

All furniture is made from solid wood. The braided rugs are braided and then glued to interfacing so they will not buckle.

I'm hoping to one day be able to do some carving on the furniture. I've been looking at my gun stock carving book and wondering what something like that would look like on the headboards or backs of chairs.

Marci, The furniture is 10 times better looking and constructed, than what I have seen on the Hitty sites; that are for sale. You have done a great job. If you dread painting the furniture, spray paint them. Some chip carving on the headboards would really put them over the top. Tom H

Thanks you two!

Ashby, this furniture I started on two weeks ago. I'm loosing sleep because I'd rather be back in my room doing another idea that just popped into my head.

Tom.. chip carving? That is one thing that is like chinese language to me. I cannot for the life of me figure that type of carving out.
