Default Flowering Snake Vine

This is the rough-in stage of my own interpretation of a vine that ends with a large flower. This sculpture is 20 inches tall and 18 inches wide. The flower is 12 inches across at the widest point. When I finish (hopefully), it will have thorns on the vine, and the petals will fold over at the ends. Keep an eye out for further progress.

That is a nice start. I enjoy carving wildflowers myself so I have an idea of what awaits you. Can't wait to see it finished.
