thanks bob, yes i signed it, but on the side...and gave it today my husband as a birthday present :-) ... rose of sharon, they called in english, yes they remind on the flowers i carved...we have them here too in spring, with a different name... thanks for sharing
ah, fred, yes mary poppins...we had some differences, so to say... i hope to get back to her,, but i must admit i got frightend by what i wanted to do. now she stands there, waiting...thanks for nice words on flowers

Doris, your flowers are absolutely gorgeous! What type of wood did you use? I love the grain and it's wonderful that you're leaving it natural. Thanks for sharing that with us!

hi thanks everybody :-) is so nice to hear so many positive feedback on a project which started as an exercise...
lindy, the wood is linden, i oiled it 2 times with tungoil, that made the grain pattern visible, and then i put one glaze of bee wax
