I am a bit surprized that you didn't chose a blunderbust ...
Is the lock assy carved , it looks almost as a real lock. Very well done!
My photo doesn't show the color wood difference , but I bet that is wonderful.

| | Re: Flintlock pistol cane Ash....the lock frizzen, spring and seat are all carved individually and pinned and epoxied in place. The Ebony really gives that illusion of hand forged metal, doesn't it!? Looks like you could cock it, prime the pan and let fly!

| | Re: Flintlock pistol cane Hey Bob, nice work, looks alot like mine I posted last month. Be careful with the ebony, I originally had carved my hammers out of black walnut, it slipped and fell, breaking them. I eventually went to brass. Good job though! |
