| | Re: Five on a nickel Thanks all, for the very kind words. Hi Ho, on a dime huh! You gotta know better than to toss out a challenge like that...you too Doug. I know that I can get 8 on quarter; and I do like my coffee. Don't know about a dime though. I may have to stop using the box cutter for that one. Just Kidding! But I am looking forward to a new knife from Thomp, that is supposed to be very useful for small carving. Thanks again for the "look-see" and the nice comments.

| | Re: Five on a nickel Those are really cool. Do you leave them for a tip for the waitress? I would love to serve coffee to somebody that left a tip like that. Even just watching would be great. Haven't been a waitress in 30+ yrs, but what the heck. Fantastic job! |

| | Re: Five on a nickel Those are some neat wizards! What do you carve them from? Toothpicks? Matchsticks? Have you seen Bob Shamey's toothpick carvings? I bet you could get a bunch of them on a quarter. toothpick gallery |

| | Re: Five on a nickel Sharon, I carve a pin for each of the major holidays and give them to the waitresses. I am one of the first people in when they open, at 6 AM, so there arn't any kids up that early. On the times that a kid was in that early they always got something.
Cliff, I have indeed looked at the toothpick carvings. I can just barely see a toothpick, let alone try to carve one. How he do dat?
Thanks for looking, the nice comments.
