| | First Cuts - Escher's "Waterfall" I have posted a photo in the Carver's Galleries of the start of a relief carving of Escher's "Waterfall." This is in response to a challenge by Claude. The piece is 16" x 20" basswood. For a better image of the subject, go to www.worldofescher.com/gallery |

| | Re: First Cuts - Escher's "Waterfall" Thanks Dick Cain for your comments. "Waterfall" will be a challenge. I have done over a dozen Escher designs as relief carvings. Some are posted on this site. I have an interesting intarzia (wood inlay) of "Belvedere," done by a young man in Italy. We collaborated on a combined inlay and relief carving of "Reptiles." I would send you photos, but this site doesn't allow attachments to private messages.
