Well here's day 5. I know I for sure need more tools the the starter kit. I need a detail knife for tight spots and there's allot of them on this. I think I need something like a small chisel as well of something to get into the deep inside corners.
The neck is for sure messed up but I'm going to keep going on it, maybe something will hit me by the time I'm done. |

Looks good so far. It is hard to carve to people interlocked and you doing well.
As far as the knife, well to be honest , I have one, but I found the tip to be a bit prone to chipping . A lotof others do not like the flex in flexcut knives. I like their larger carving knife. But I would suggest talking to Rick, or check his online catalog.
For just starting you may want to consider a murphy, cheap cost but holds a good edge and gives a stiffness not in the flexcut.
