That would be cool but I just dont know if I could do it to tell you the truth.

Marty, looks like you got it right from the beginning, proportions, feeling - it will be interesting to watch, keep posting pictures. This should be a really good carving.

Default Help

Well I went and done it and I need some help. I have cut out to much and now my figure doesn't have a neck.

, Should I just remove the head altogether and glue it on later or is there a way that I might be able add wood?

Thanks,
Marty

If I'm looking at this right, I'm thinkin that you might be able to reduce his chest a bit and hopefully make room to bring in a neckline for her.

I'm going to keep going to see if I can bring her neck and chin back in line. I was going to put her head resting sideways on his shoulder facing him but I don't know now. I will cut the red line and maybe bring his shoulders in a bit. I need to do allot of carving between them too, well the whole thing is still in the ruff. LOL

Suggestions?

Marty

I still see neck! To me, it looked like she had her head turned into him...very tender.

yes, i too still see her neck :-) ...still lots of wood everywhere, dont worry... and yes, i think is good idea bring his shoulder closer, i like that... you are doing great, they are so tender, and the carving sharpens up uniformly. wonderful progress
