I have found out you can add fine sawdust to white paint and moosh it around in a baggy and let it absorb the paint, to work for snow also. Just thought I'd pass it on to ya.  |

Usually I just start thinking about what animal might want to carve and then when one sticks in my head I try it. I did think about trying your method for making snow but all my sawdust was pretty dirty  My shop is in the barn.

I remembered a thread on it a while back so I found it by searching.
