| | Finished Seal Well I got'er finished. A Harp seal pup. Someone suggested naming her, how about "Sealia". . ."Celia'? I found painting all white a challenge as far as highlights and shading go, but I guess it came out okay. Being the impatient person that I am, I wanted to finish and not wait to order stuff for snow so I concocted a mixture that I think worked quite well. I mixed equal amounts of cornstarch and sugar. Painted the pieces to have snow with watered down glue and sprinkled the mixture on with a salt shaker. I then put on about 8 or 10 heavy coats of Deft. The snow is hard as a rock but doesn't look that way. Anyway any critiques - good or bad, appreciated.
