It's a great looking carving as it sits. I always have a bit of trouble deciding when a carving is finished...I usually put it down when I find myself wondering if what I am about to do is really necessary...when I start to "fuss" with it..I declair it done. just what works for me (sometimes)...it's a hard decision a lot of times.
