boy you guys and gals sure know how to make someone feel good.

woodtrapper,
I did it just for the challenge of learning to carve a face. Right now it is in the cupboard above my work space until I get the finish done. I'm still pondering that part...acrylic washes or oil stains

This is a beautiful carving. You should be very proud of this fellow. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see him once you put your finish on him.
