| | Finished Cat Santa I finally finished the Santa with the cats.. This a " from scratch" Santa.. I started it years ago and asked Curtis to show me how to carve a face.. He picked it up and whipped out a face and beard and I said," boy, you are SOME teacher and put it on the shelf!!!! While waiting for my roughouts , I had to have something to carve and picked it up and started whittling.. It was to shor, so I carved my "first feet" and pegged them on.. the heels are too big but it's a start. That little mouse was the hardest thing for me as it was too small to hold.. and I am not satisfied with the mouse. Anyway, I finally finished it and will now start on one of the roughouts.. | | Re: Finished Cat Santa That is a remarkable carving!
Could you please tell us the size so I can fully appreciate the details and the painting? Even the stitches along the quilt like Santa clothing is perfect. The cat he's holding is very dear.
I like everything about it.
