Don't bother posting a larger picture Garymac. I don't have any vision at all. But sounds like a great project and you did a great job. Thanks for sharing.

Gary.....Very nice, great colors, love the way the three carvings flow with the stick, you had a small area to carve in and it really show great details , especially in the indian bust. Fantastic like Colin said above. Bill

Gary ,

Simple Out standing wonderful work !

Ron ,
The stick has three carvings , at the top it has a longhorn skull painted white with brown horns the skull is alomst perfect including the seam lines.

Below that is an Indian warrior showing a worried creased face and the age of his years puts him into the age of late 40's early 50's , there is no grey in the hair which is pulled from the center of his head and tied into place with leather wraps which hang along his face. The cheeksbone are perfect and the face is very excellently painted in the copper-bronze skin tones. The mouth is closed and the chin set firm. The adams apple is defined and the natural wood makes the shirt , which is set of with a leather strap which hold a bronze rosette from which hangs two white feathers , All carved and the painting is outstanding .

Below the Indian is a leather buckskin round shield. The shield had a brown leather wrap and three feathers hanging below a buffalo painted on the shield.

Gary Outstanding and simply beautiful

Ash
