Sam, I'm blown away by this great carving you just finished, not only the carving is great, the paint job is excellent as well, now that I've finally seen your work, I'm totally impressed, please keep the pictures comming.

Wow, that is really good, Sam. Very realistic.

I realize my opinion may not count for much since I am such a newbie but it is seeing stuff like this that makes me twitch and 1) want to try *everything* next and 2) wonder what sorts of things I might be able to do after a year or two (or 10) of practice.

thanks everyone for the kind words,
i thought when i gave the carving to Stan, that would be as good as it gets, i was right to some degree, the replies from the carvers, wow , i feel blessed to know you all, and thanks toWCI for having a place to gather,
as for posting other carvings, i just this week learned how to post my pictures
now to take picture , that have been sent to me, photos, not emails, and post them , I'll have to get thomp busy and get them on the computer,
