go it done,
my son-in-law , retired after 23 years in the marines, he showed me a picture of the marine horse color guard, i had done some horse in the past, but nothing like this,
if i had not known of this site, i probably not tried to do this, but lots of help out there,
Lynn, tom H,jim oh, ron t, keamo, mike mucucci, ever Col Ford, and lance cpl, carmona, sent me picture 2 times , like a fool i did not print them.
my son in law liked it, but me, you know us carver are, always some to do different, my wife ask if i would ever be satisfied, i hope not,
thomp had taken care of this Ole yankee, and downsized the picture for me, now to get a good camera. that will make it look better won't it?
hope this works,
thanks to all,
now to do the grandson who is shipping out to Afghanistan.
Sam

Camera or no camera , Sam. That is a fantastic horse and a brilliant leatherneck! I don't think there is anything to make it look better, it's awesome the way it is! Congratulations!

Sam, Any Marine would be proud to have this carving.

AND! For any one else looking at this posting....maybe we can talk Sam into posting some of the photos of his other horses and wagons. What say Sam?

Fine job! And it is okay to be critical of your own work....that's what you take to the next piece you carve....and do it better. You should be very proud of this one.
