Default Finally finished Greenman, mostly

Finally finished the Greenman,. just lack some undercutting on the back side of the carving. He is 10-1/2" x 7-1/2" x 1-1/3", made of Butternut. This has been a tedious project, but turned out ok. Thanks for looking.

Really great job! I love the impish look on his face. I can just see him getting into mischief.

I agree, it is a great job. Will I be able to see him up close and personal at Franklin this Saturday?

Nice one Gary, no need to rush though a carving unless of course your under a dead line. I think you really did a nice job on the facial features and the leaves are good too. How do you like carving with Butternut say verse Basswood. I bought some Butternut while I was in Colorado at the Woodcarvers Rendezvous, but haven't used it yet.

Gary, carving those leaves must of been tedious, but your attention to detail sure paid off. It's very nice! Great job!
