| | Finally finished Greenman, mostly Finally finished the Greenman,. just lack some undercutting on the back side of the carving. He is 10-1/2" x 7-1/2" x 1-1/3", made of Butternut. This has been a tedious project, but turned out ok. Thanks for looking.

I think you really did a nice job on the facial features and the leaves are good too. How do you like carving with Butternut say verse Basswood. I bought some Butternut while I was in Colorado at the Woodcarvers Rendezvous, but haven't used it yet.
