Default finally finished a few projects!

It has been a long time since I actually finished something even though I carve a great deal. I'm only ok with the results on the staff, but I'll beat it up in the woods anyway. The flying serpent was inspired by Ash's staffs and it includes a greenman, an owl, and a wizard all looking in different directions like his story. I just thought that was so cool. Giving Ash full credit for that idea. I painted it with bright colored watercolors, and stained over it with oil paint and BLO and it toned down quite a bit. It's basswood.

The ornaments are 3 of the last 4 I've finished for the exchange. I'll put them in the mail tomorrow I hope.

Thor

Neat carvings Thor. I like them all but the owl and green man took my eye. Glad you didn't call it red man, hehehehehehehe.

You've been busy Thor! Love the owl, so simple but yet so complicated. The greenman is awesome!
