Hello everyone. I must say that I am overwhelmed with your generous support and encouragement of my 'ugly duckling' project. I appreciate all the lovely comments and kind words. I guess I was trying to be realistic in my views toward my carving skills. I don't like to think of myself as being better than I actually am. Sort of keeping myself grounded I suppose, instead of fooling myself into believing something that isn't true. It is possible that I got too close to the project and I just hate it at the moment. Perhaps later I will come to appreciate it more. Thanks again everyone. This is a fantastic site and you are all wonderful people for sharing your expertise and opinions. Joe.
