Default figured amboyna burl leaf
Hi everyone,
I got some figured amboyna burl knife scales from ebay. I started with the first image and was completely unsatisfied. I decided to try and give it some curves. I cut it with my dremel and sanded it down to 600 grit. It is closer to what I envisioned, but I think I could do it better next time. I haven't put a finish on it yet, just rubbed it with my fingers.

I'm not sure what I'll finish it with, something shiny I think. I may try buffing it first.
