Default few orniments

carved a few ornaments this year for brothers and sisters
4 elves and a gaggle of santas...

i think im gonna stick to hillbillys, cuz i can find live examples at the next family reunion, or just peek in the hallway mirror

the bigger ornaments are from the mark gargac tutorial last year "thanks again mark!" there for my siblings..
while the smaller ones are out of triangle stock/scraps practice stuff.... for the niece's and nephews.. they probably wont want them but if i didnt send them one the green eyed jeliousy monster would raise its head shortly after the ornaments arrived..

truthful comments welcome
i know there not all that great but they did keep me from going nutty! and give me plenty practice sharpening and honing and first aid...

I love it when they are grouped together like that in one pic. Adorable.
Hope you are feeling better with every day.

Thomp,
Gald to see you are back in the saddle again. Hope the health problems are behind you and you'll be able to keep whittling. Good job on the ornaments and I only wish I had been able to get that many done. Take care, Jim OH

thomp,
been kuttin some i see, love em all, i really like the funny white one, kind of looks like a corkscrew, a little color on it would work wonders,
any of the green ones no body wants send north, nothing but white stuff here now,

looks like you got a few more kin than i, but mine are breeding faster,
glad to see some production, keep it coming.

thanks all for the kind words,

cat bird,
i didn't want to get a real close up of them all or you would have seen just how bad they are,

sam, the white cork screw one was due to laziness, i just draped the wreath over my lamp on my desk, eeemmm' dont tell no body but the 6 big ones were from last years efforts.. i am so bad i just now got around to painting them if thats what you call the mess i made on them...

the biggest hurtle was eyesight, but by keeping my first aid kit, super glue, and my dollar store +3 cheater reading glasses on, i was able to tell the difference between the basswood and my fingers, not to much blood letting for all the chips i made....

joy,
if i dont put the intended persons name on each one, my baby sister will keep them all for herself she's our mikey....

jim oh,
im truly glad to be able to turn off that dang tv and get something done that makes me feel like i got something accomplished..

thanks to all that posted, sorry i didn't reply to each one but my keyboard poking finger is getting sore, "its the one i cut plenty good!"
