Patrick.....that is a great improvement from the first female face you did.....quite stunning actually. Well done. As you progress, you are becoming quite an exceptional carver. Keep up the good work and I do hope you are enjoying yourself as much as we are watching you progress!!!

Now lad, are you going to expand your skills even more and begin carving the rest of the person?

Bob

Patrick,
I agree with the others that she is beautiful and a fine carving.
Yes, her eyes are again, very successful. She has a sort of fantasy look about her with her large lips and narrow yet, strong chin with a wize look in her eyes. Lovely piece. The oak grain adds a great deal to the appeal.
Your style shows through even though you changed genders.

Beautiful jaw line and such soft brows! Just wonderful. A very feminine work.

Great carving Patrick! I look forward to seeing those pictures when you are able to share them. Those eyes sure make your piece...although the entire work is great!

Your use of the grain is excellent, although I am sure some of the effect is luck (great pc of wood). You really do an excellent job on the eyes. I agree with the comments on the cheek and mouth.

Again, excellent work, so life like.
