Default Face in Babine Bark

This is my first face in a year, and my first effort in Babine. It fuzzs up real bad. Won't even sand very good. I might like American cottonwood better. A little more "clean-up" and some drark brown wax and it's finished.

John never carved a wood spirit but yours is looking good. That skull in the back groud looks pretty sharp.

John, never heard of that bark, where do you get it. Very nice bark carving.

Excellent spirit, John. I never heard of Babine bark. It has a beautiful grain. Thanks for sharing.
