Default Elves, Santas, and things...

These all came from the Mark Gargac blank for Santas and Elves. I was laid up for about a month with a hip replacement and spent time carving these. Another member of our carving club cut out the blanks for me just before the surgery. It took another four months for me to get up the nerve to try painting them. Here they are.

And the last two...

Edit: I forgot to mention that the elf doesn't have the Watco Dark Wax because my wife liked it the way it was and abducted it before the wax. It shows what they looked like before the Watco Dark Wax.

Hey J, those are really nice. If you hadn't mentioned it, I would have thought you were painting and finishing for a while.

I have the usual trouble painting plus my hands aren't very steady so it's tough to stay within the lines.

I agree with your wife....I like the elf best, but the sea captain is my second favorite. Nice job.
