Yes there is going to be a Carving Show at the Dollywood theme park, Friday, October 3, Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5. Publicity has been slow in getting into the various carving magazines, but the show will take place. If you have never been, it is well worth the admission price into Dollywood to see the show and visit with the carvers. The unique part of the competion is that the "Top 25" carvings of the first and second place winners are on display giving visitors and carvers a chance to vote on their choice while viewing the top carvings displayed together. My wife Frances and I will be there so come by our table display and introduce yourself. See you there.

Hey Don! I live in Bristol and plan on making the trip down. I will make sure I stop by and say hello. I've seen you down there a few times before but your table is always swamped. I'm sure you all will have a good turn out as always. My wife and I will plan on coming down that Saturday so I will come over and say hi.
