I have a dozen projects going at one time......The same projects I've had going for the last 8 months (Since I started carving with hand tools)...2 large (4' or better) in the round 3 medium (2'-3')in the round 3 small (under a foot) 2 small relief and two studies (nose and eyes) Once in awhile I'll do a primitive just so I can tell my wife that I finished something and keep money flowing for the tool budget (see hick stick)
BTW, Love the Dragon

I guess this is kind of silly. There is a few people in the group who have been in my shop, Tuscon Bill, for one, he might have a clue. The truth is I have barely a clue....... when we get close, I will try to get Rick to count them. maybe this would be a way to finally get him to come over to my house.

A free carving? Seriously?

In that case, I'd guess at 132 roughed out, 43 ready for sanding, 28 half painted, 9 finished and ready to be sold.

I like to 'shotgun' my guesses. does it show?

I like to do one at a time. But recently I've been enjoying working on multiple pieces.

Art, show us a picture of "The Pile" so that we'll have as good an idea as you.
