Default Cutty Sark half model

Tryed something different this week, a half model of the Cutty Sark, using just contrasting woods, instead of the built up method I usually use. I still have to mount it on a back board, but you can get the idea from these pictures.

The wood is Birch, the bottom regular Birch and the top "fumed" Birch.

She certainly had beautiful lines, the Old Lady did!

Finally mounted the grand lady and hung her with another, though different scale.. I am beginning to run out of wall space, and have three more in the works.
