Hi Thor, and thank you. I've learned a lot about kachina dolls since starting to carve one. They really are interesting and each one has a different meaning for the Hopi and Zuni. Navajo also carve kachina, but the Hopi and Zuni are the original creator's of this wooden spirit doll. Kathy
