Excellent! I know nothing about Kachina dolls except what you are telling me along the way, and I am truly learning to appreciate them. Love the colors you chose to use. Your daughter is very fortunate to receive such a heart felt gift.

Hi Thor, and thank you. I've learned a lot about kachina dolls since starting to carve one. They really are interesting and each one has a different meaning for the Hopi and Zuni. Navajo also carve kachina, but the Hopi and Zuni are the original creator's of this wooden spirit doll.

Started my Crow Mother too, you know me I prefer the contemporary style of kachina. Hope I can give it the justice you did yours.
