Default Cowboy Boot Carving

Here is my first pair of carved boots. The other picture is of the carved woodgrain base. I think it took longer than the boots.

Gotta stop carving and start painting. Yuck.

Great boots!

I don't hate painting – I just get paranoid that after working so hard on the carving I may screw it up with the paint.

great job, love the wood, thought at first you had taken a picture of a wall,
like you and the gadog, i have 4 items waiting for the paint, one is a boot, so please post the finished boot, you might inspire me to paint mine,

Wow Steve, they look good. I think if it were me I would just paint the soles black and then dip them in a watco oil stain
