Thumbs up Re: cowboy and indian

Good Job Daddio ...

Both the characters are good pieces ... but I have to admit .. Ia'm parcel to the indian ..

You did a fine job of carving and leaving the indian natural was a good touch ...

Great job all around ..

Gene

I really like that cowboy! One suggestion.....Give him a Gold buckle! I'll have to disagree with Gene on the Indian. I think he'd look much better painted, especially as there is so many areas to use different colors.

Nice work!

thanks guys man that new camera computer set up bout drove me crazy pics still not as crisp as i wanted,i debated on painting the indian for a while now made a cedar base cut like an arrow head for it,just thought the two went together better this way,but it was a long debate, you can't really tell in this pic lynn i did the buckle in a metalic silver, but would be easy to change, may try the gold and see.thanks again

Nice coboy and indian. Like them both but indain's expression show the dismal conditions he must of lived in.
Only thing I would suggest, is a litlle less on the shine. But I think they are great.

Very very nice pieces....The carving, and subject are very well done, but I have a personal like for a tad less shine. But I'd be proud to have done either.. Tom H
