Default A couple of things I did

I just thought I would post these to recieve a little critiquing. Most of you will recognize the laughing bear from a few issues ago. The little guy is what i learned from Gene's You Tube videos, Thanks Gene.
I hope the pictures attached, this is my fist attempt at that.

Thanks
Steve

Steve, for your first attempt at flat plane I think you did a great job, perhaps some deeper cuts would improve on that one, the bear really looks good, keep up the great work.

Steve ,

I have not watched Gene's viedo. So I will do so, but I am assuming the little man is the same as the one Cliff did . So before I would comment to offer advivse , I will have to watch the viedos.

But for first pieces that look very good.

Ash

I'm not good enough at carving to give criticism. Both look fine to me.

Hi Steve, your images uploaded just fine.
Looks, like you are learning your lessons well. Both carvings are really nice and full of character.

Thanks for all the comments. I guess I'll hang on to my carving tools and stay at it.
