Default Couple of new faces

Hello All,
Haven't posted in a while, and the forum keeps telling me when I come here ( about twice a day) that I need to post something, so here they are. They were both carved of the corner of a 2" peice of Basswood and finished with thinned down acrylic paints.
Comments and critiques welcome!
Thanks!
GaryMc

Nice work, Gary! Great detail for that size of carving.

Nice work Gary. This is a refreshing change from woodspirit/Indians that I like very much. Thanks for posting them.

Very nice carvings. I like the detail of them, and really liked the "cap" on the mountin man. I liked the viking best overall, because he was more fluid and rounded. The mountain man looked more "blocky", you might want to round figures like him a little more, but that's just my taste.
